National League of Cities - Teen pregnancy is an issue in the city of Alexandria that the Alexandria Youth Council (AYC) is currently focused on. The AYC is working with Critical Exposure, a non-profit that helps young people advocate effectively utilizing photography and other creative strategies, on a teen pregnancy prevention project through the use of photography.

Young DC - Critical Exposure is an organization which trains young students from across the country to express their point of view through photography. The project not only teaches students to take quality pictures, but also uses these pictures to raise public awareness of the state of the students’ environments.
