Critical Exposure taught us to take pictures of our everyday lives so we can get in touch with people who do not understand what is going on in the DC public schools.
Critical Exposure partners with community organizing and advocacy groups, youth organizations, and public schools around the country to teach our workshops on documentary photography and social advocacy. Our goal is to support campaigns seeking to improve the lives of low-income youth.
Interested in partnering with Critical Exposure in your community?
In the last five years, we've found that the elements of a successful partnership include a local youth program or school; partner advocacy or community organizations; and local or state funders. We seek partnerships all over the country, but note that if you're based locally in Washington, DC, our partner model is much more flexible.
If you think your organization fits our model, please contact us with the form below!
