NBC Washington featured a news piece on one result of our students' campaign to create a library at The Washington Metropolitan High School.  Critical Exposure student photographers documented the condition of their current library, which is disorganized and closed to students; advocated for increased investment in the library's construction from both DCPS and community members; and held exhibits of their photographs and writing to speak out about this obstacle to their academic and professional success.  One result of the students' work was a donation of 80 boxes of books from former Howard University President Dr. Patrick Swygert.
