Look through the eyes of students as they document their experiences in public schools.
These photographs, taken by public school students, tell two different but compatible stories. The first story, one that rarely receives media attention, is that there are positive developments taking place in our public schools every day. There are committed students learning, skilled teachers teaching, and schools offering programs and activities in which students take great pride. The second story is that these positive developments are severely limited by the many challenges facing public education, such as inequitable funding, appalling facilities, and underqualified teachers.
